Usage

Cystinuria

The usual adult dosage of tiopronin is 100 mg (1 tablet of this drug) given orally 4 times daily (after meals and before bedtime). The maximum amount is 500 mg (2,000 mg daily).

The usual daily dose for children is 100 mg (1 tablet of this drug), and the maximum daily dose is 40 mg / kg.

However, the maximum adult dose (2,000 mg daily, 20 tablets of this drug) shall not be exceeded.
