Efficacy 
This medicine is taken in mitochondria in myocardial cells and acts on the pathway to increase energy needed for the cardiac systole. It consequently improves decreased heart activity.
It is usually used in the treatment of symptoms of congestive heart failure.

Usage
The usual adult dosage of ubidecalenone is 10 mg given orally three times daily after meals.
In general, for adults, 2 tablets at a time are orally administered 3 times a day after meals.
