The drug 'biotin' is a vitamin (vitamin B7 or vitamin H). Its function is not well understood, but it seems to play a role such as keeping the skin normal. Therefore, it is widely applied to various skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis, and acne. It may be applied as biotin therapy for palmoplantar pustulosis.
 
Efficacy
This medicine is biotin (vitamin H). Biotin participates in metabolism as coenzyme of the metabolism enzyme in the body.
It is usually used to treat acute eczema, chronic eczema, infantile eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrhoic eczema and acne vulgaris.
 
Usage
As biotin, the usual adult dose is 0.5 to 2 mg (0.25 to 1 g powder) per day orally in 1 to 3 divided doses. The dosage should be adjusted according to age and symptoms.
