There is a mild anti-inflammatory effect. It has the effect of softening swelling and pain in the throat and mouth. There is no strong action, but there is no worry about side effects. It is often used when the throat is swollen with a cold.

Sore throat, tonsillitis, stomatitis, acute gingivitis, glossitis, oral wounds
 
Dosing and Administration
Dissolve 4 to 6 mg once (pressed for one time, or 5 to 7 drops) once in a suitable amount (about 100 mL) of water or warm water and rinse it several times a day.
