DENOTAS contains calcium, natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and magnesium carbonate. Vitamin D3 helps increase blood calcium by promoting calcium absorption in the small intestine and calcium reabsorption in the kidneys. Magnesium is involved in calcium metabolism.
 
 
Efficacy
Treatment and prevention of hypocalcemia (low blood calcium) associated with RANKL inhibitors, such as denosumab.
 
 
Usage
The usual dose is 2 tablets once daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose according to your condition and laboratory results. Follow the prescribed instructions.
Chew the tablets or allow them to dissolve in your mouth.
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember. If your next dose is near, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses together.
If you take more than prescribed, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop treatment without your doctor’s advice.

<Warning!!>
Do not take this medicine if you have hypercalcemia or a history of hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about kidney problems, pregnancy, breastfeeding and all other medicines or supplements you take.
Blood calcium must be monitored during treatment. Attend the tests arranged by your doctor. Report symptoms such as fatigue, irritability, nausea or thirst, which may indicate hypercalcemia.
Interactions include tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics, levothyroxine, digoxin, strontium, and vitamin D products or derivatives. Ask your pharmacist about dose spacing where appropriate.
Avoid drinking large amounts of milk during treatment because hypercalcemia and milk-alkali syndrome may occur.
Reported side effects include constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, rash, redness and itching. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms occur.
Keep out of children’s reach. Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Close the bottle tightly after use and keep the tablets in their original container. Do not repackage into dose sachets because moisture and light can reduce product quality.
