In principle, it is not used for skin infections caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. In particular, skin tuberculosis, syphilitic skin disease, herpes simplex (lip and face herpes, Kaposi's blister-like eruption, genital herpes), chicken pox (chicken pox), shingles etc. are considered as contraindications. Also, it is unsuitable for severe burns, skin ulcers and cuts. If you use steroids for these, the symptoms may worsen or cure may be delayed.
The skin is thin and face, neck, and genital area are easy to take medicine and absorbed into the body. For such affected areas, the rank, frequency and duration of use of steroids are often taken into consideration.
Because the baby's skin is also delicate, according to the degree of severity, the doctor carefully prescribes the strength, amount, and duration of use of the medicine. In particular, atopic dermatitis in infancy is likely to be complicated by impetigo (tongue), so it is necessary to deal with it properly. Wash your hands well before and after use. Then, take an appropriate amount on your fingertips and apply it gently so that it does not rub too hard, but with your finger belly. Let's try not to spread over the healthy part.
The use frequency is usually twice or once a day (morning, evening or after bathing). Generally, the acute phase is 2 times, and after 1 to 2 weeks, the severity is evaluated and if it is improved, weight loss or switch to weaker one at a time. It would be ideal if it could be phased out and eventually discontinued, but in atopic dermatitis etc. it may be slightly longer as maintenance therapy.
The disease itself is not cured. Because it is a symptomatic treatment drug, there is a risk that it will return once it is stopped. Especially during long-term mass use, sudden resignation may cause severe repulsive symptoms. So don't stop at your own discretion if you're clean. Please continue patiently for the indicated period. When we cancel, we will reduce gradually at the discretion of the doctor.
Avoid around the eyes as much as possible, but be careful not to get in your eyes when using them. Large doses can cause intraocular pressure and cause glaucoma.
Because it works well, it should not be substituted after shaving or under makeup.
