NAPAGELN Cream 3% is a topical anti-inflammatory analgesic cream containing felbinac as its active ingredient, used to relieve pain and swelling associated with joint and muscle conditions.
 
 
Efficacy
Relief of pain and inflammation associated with the following conditions: osteoarthritis, myofascial low back pain, periarthritis of the shoulder, tendinitis/tenosynovitis, peritendinitis, epicondylitis of the humerus (e.g., tennis elbow), muscle pain, and post-traumatic swelling and pain.
Felbinac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX), an enzyme involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances that cause inflammation. By suppressing this process, it helps ease swelling and pain at the affected site. As with other topical NSAIDs, this cream relieves symptoms but does not treat the underlying cause of the condition.
 
 
Usage
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area several times daily, as needed for symptoms.

Since felbinac is minimally absorbed into the bloodstream, systemic side effects are rare; however, effects may be milder than oral or suppository NSAIDs, and this product may not be strongly effective for severe inflammation in large joints such as the knee.
