This medicine suppresses actions of allergic substances (histamine) or inflammatory substances and improves allergic symptoms.
It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives and itching associated with skin diseases (eczema/dermatitis, cutaneous pruritus). It is not intended to immediately improve bronchial asthma attacks or symptoms that have already started.
 
Efficacy
It is relatively fast-acting and has a long duration. It will be effective shortly after taking it. Especially, it is highly effective for sneezing and runny nose, and it is also effective for stuffy nose. For atopic dermatitis, it is prescribed with the expectation that it will reduce itching. It is also suitable for mild asthma, but in this case it has a low priority and is only used as an adjunct to other drugs.
 
Usage
For bronchial asthma: In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (6 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day.
For allergic rhinitis, hives and itching associated with skin diseases (eczema / dermatitis, cutaneous pruritus): In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (3 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day.
In any case, the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
