This medicine dilates the bronchi to sedate coughing.
It is usually used for cough associated with bronchitis, common cold, upper airway inflammation, pneumonia and tuberculosis.
Efficacy
Contains 3 types of active ingredients. There are three types: dihydrocodeine, a central antitussive, methylephedrine, a bronchodilator, and chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine. When these work together, the cough-preventing effect is strengthened.
Dihydrocodeine: Holds the cough center of the brain and stops coughing.
Methylephedrine: Expands the bronchi and makes breathing easier.
Chlorpheniramine: Relieves allergic symptoms and suppresses sputum.
Usage
In general, for adults, take 3 tablets at a time, three times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. For children aged 12 to under 15 years, take 2/3 of the adult dose. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

The main component, dihydrocodeine, is a "central antitussive" that acts on the cough center. It is technically classified as a narcotic weak opioid. Even though it's a narcotic, it's for medical use, so don't worry. It also works well for stubborn coughs for which common cough medicines do not work. Over-the-counter cough medicines also contain this ingredient.
