As we age, the eye’s ability to focus gradually declines, and tear production decreases, making the eyes more prone to dryness. Under such conditions, prolonged or intensive use of the eyes can increasingly lead to eye fatigue and blurred vision.
Sante Medical Active is an ophthalmic solution formulated with a well-balanced combination of nine active ingredients. These include Vitamin A (retinol palmitate), which promotes the secretion of mucin (a component of tears) and helps stabilize the tear film, as well as sodium chondroitin sulfate, which protects and moisturizes the surface of the eye. Five of these ingredients are included at the maximum concentration permitted under OTC ophthalmic drug standards*2.
This formulation is effective for relieving eye fatigue and blurred vision*1 caused by age-related decline in eye function. It supports healthy and comfortable vision for an active lifestyle.

Efficacy
Blurred vision (e.g., when there is excessive eye discharge), eye fatigue, conjunctival hyperemia (red eyes), itchy eyes, prevention of eye diseases (such as after swimming or when dust or sweat enters the eyes), blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids), eye inflammation caused by ultraviolet rays or other light (e.g., snow blindness), and discomfort while wearing hard contact lenses.
 
Usage
Instill 1 to 3 drops at a time, 5 to 6 times daily.

Warnings
Consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered sales distributor before use if you:
Are currently receiving medical treatment from a doctor
Have a history of allergic reactions to medications or similar products
Have the following symptom: severe eye pain
Have been diagnosed with glaucoma
 
If the following symptoms occur after use, they may indicate side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered sales distributor:
Skin: rash, redness, itching
Eyes: redness, itching, swelling, stinging or pain
 
Discontinue use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered sales distributor if:
Blurred vision does not improve
Symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use
 
Ingredients
Vitamin A (Retinol Palmitate) — 50,000 units / 100 mL
Promotes the secretion of mucin (a component of tears), stabilizes the tear film, and protects the cornea.
Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate — 0.5%
Protects the cornea and helps retain moisture by preventing tear evaporation.
Natural Vitamin E (d-α-Tocopherol Acetate) — 0.05%
Improves blood circulation in peripheral vessels.
Taurine — 0.5%
Activates tissue metabolism in the eyes.
Potassium L-Aspartate — 0.5%
Enhances tissue respiration in the eyes.
Neostigmine Methyl Sulfate — 0.005%
Improves focusing ability (accommodation), helping to relieve eye fatigue.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate — 0.03%
Suppresses the action of histamine, reducing eye inflammation and itching.
Epsilon-Aminocaproic Acid — 1.0%
Inhibits the production of substances that cause inflammation.
Tetrahydrozoline Hydrochloride — 0.01%
Reduces redness of the conjunctiva (white of the eye).
 
 
Inactive Ingredients
Contains sodium edetate hydrate, dextran, sodium hyaluronate, hydroxyethyl cellulose, benzalkonium chloride solution, boric acid, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polysorbate 80, BHT, d-borneol, l-menthol, isotonic agents, and pH adjusters.
