Dellegra Combination Tablets  "LTLPharma"100Tablets To Allergic Rhinitis Medication From Japan

Contents

  • It is a combination drug of fexofenadine (Allegra), a second-generation antihistamine, and pseudoephedrine, an alpha-sympathomimetic agent. The combination of pseudoephedrine enhances the effect on nasal obstruction, and one drug can cover the three major symptoms of allergic rhinitis. It is relatively fast-acting and takes effect shortly after administration.

  • Fexofenadine, an antihistamine, is less fat-soluble and less likely to enter the brain, resulting in fewer side effects of drowsiness. In fact, in psychomotor performance tests using a car driving simulator and a word processing test, there was no difference between fexofenadine and placebo. Therefore, there are no restrictions regarding drowsiness, including driving.

  • Pseudoephedrine, an alpha sympathomimetic, is a relatively safe drug with less cardiovascular effects than ephedrine, a similar drug. It has been shown to be as effective as or more effective than antileukotriene drugs (Singulair and Kipres) for nasal obstruction. Although it has been used worldwide for some time, this is the first drug to be approved as an ethical drug in Japan.

Efficacy

Fexofenadine hydrochloride has antagonistic action on H1 receptors and suppressive action on releasing of various chemical mediators. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride decreases blood flow of nasal mucosa and shows effective improvement on nasal congestion. It improves symptoms of sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis such as cedar pollinosis, and perennial allergic rhinitis caused by mite and house dust.It is usually used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
