Clobetasol Propionate Cream 0.05% “MYK” is a topical corticosteroid classified in Group 1 [Strongest], the highest potency category among topical steroid medications.
 
Because it belongs to the strongest class of topical steroids, it is generally used for severe symptoms or for thickened skin lesions such as lichenified eczema. In general, it is not recommended for delicate or thin skin areas such as the face unless specifically directed by a physician.

Efficacy
This topical steroid medicine has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects that help reduce skin inflammation and relieve symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching.
 
It is usually used for the treatment of:
Eczema and dermatitis (including progressive palmar keratosis, Vidal’s lichen, and solar dermatitis)
Prurigo and itchy skin conditions
Palmoplantar pustulosis
Psoriasis
Insect bites
Drug eruptions and toxic skin eruptions
 
Although this medicine does not cure the underlying cause of the disease itself, it helps improve skin condition and prevents worsening caused by scratching.
 
 
Usage
Usually, an appropriate amount is applied to the affected area once to several times daily depending on symptoms. Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.
 
Avoid contact with the eyes. If the medicine accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water immediately.
Follow usage instructions carefully when applying to areas covered by diapers.
If you forget to apply a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.
Do not apply two doses at the same time.
If you accidentally use too much, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
